Creative Age Exhibition
The exhibition features artwork created by artists who meet every Monday during school terms at Hunt Club Community & Arts Centre, Deer Park. Coming together in a safe, fun, and welcoming space to work on their own art and be inspired by others.
Getting involved with the arts can have powerful and lasting effects on mental health and well-being. Being part of this group helps reduce stress and anxiety, boost self-esteem, improve thinking and communication and provide social connection.
Art helps us make sense of our own stories, giving us a feeling of control and understanding in our lives. "A growing body of research evidence shows that the creative arts can offer opportunities for meaning-making, while also regulating and expressing our emotions".
Every Friday, 12 to 4pm meet one of the artists, explore the exhibition and engage in creative conversations together.
