Talking to Teens about Respect, Safety and Risk Online

Download as iCal file

Our children and adolescents spend a lot of time online and the number of hours increases as they get older. We need to help our teens manage their use of technology so that they know when to ask for help, and to help them stay safe, happy and healthy.

Join us to discuss ways parents and carers can help teens navigate a digital world. This one-hour webinar will cover:

    • how to have honest conversations and be an 'askable' parent
    • current online issues for teens including:

      • time spent online
      • managing friendships, social media and gaming
      • cyberbullying
      • sexting
      • pornography
      • where to go for help and support.
