Natural pest and disease management

In this My Smart Garden event, experienced horticulturalist and presenter Kat Lavers will teach you how to manage common pests and diseases in your garden using simple natural methods. This workshop will include an indoor presentation and an outdoor portion where you will have a chance to see the Hunt Club’s beautiful garden and learn more about pest and disease management. Please note, we will remain inside in the event of bad weather.

Topics covered include:

  • Identifying pests and diseases
  • Addressing the causes
  • Encouraging beneficial insects
  • Prevention, management, and treatment using organic methods

Hunt Club Community & Arts Centre

The Hunt Club Community & Arts Centre is a Neighbourhood House and Brimbank's primary arts venue. The Centre provides a range of opportunities for people to participate in a wide range of programs and to experience the arts. These opportunities include classes, exhibitions and artists’ studios.

The Hunt Club Community & Arts Centre is a short walk from Deer Park Village shops and 1.5km from Deer Park train station. Buses 215, 216 and 456 stop outside the Hunt Club and bus 420 stops nearby on Station Road.
