Art Exhibition - Sunshine & Districts Historical Society - Albion Explosives Factory, 40 Years Exhibition Information Session - Term 3 2026

This year marks the 40th Anniversary of the closure of Albion Explosive Factory. On display are photographs, plans, clothing and other material from the factory. As you browse through this material you will appreciate the history of the site, that is now the peaceful, leafy and family-oriented suburb of Cairnlea.

Join us for an information session where we'll take a closer look at the history of the factory and explore highlights of the exhibition. It's a great opportunity to learn more about the site's fascinating past, ask questions and discover how the area has changed over the years. Please register your attendance as light refreshments will be served.
